A stand can be beautifully built and still communicate poorly. Branding needs a hierarchy: who the company is, what it offers and what visitors should remember after walking past.
What matters most
- Place the logo high enough to remain visible when the stand is busy.
- Use one primary message per viewing direction instead of filling walls with paragraphs.
- Prepare artwork at the correct size and resolution; large-format print exposes low-quality source files.
- Coordinate print colours with painted surfaces, lighting and digital screens.
Practical planning
Review the graphics from three distances: across the hall, from the aisle and from inside the stand. Each distance should communicate the right amount of information.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Making every message the same visual size.
- Using small body text on walls that visitors cannot read from the aisle.
- Sending compressed web logos instead of vector artwork.
